Canberra's Namadgi Dragons have taken out the men's division of the SAL International Youth Cup with a convincing win over Western Australia's Western Civil by 6 runs to 2.
After tournament leaders NSW Metro suffered two losses in the elimination round, the Namadgi Dragons and NZ Development team went head to head for a shot at the final. The Dragons defeated the New Zealand boys by 7 runs to 4 to meet Western Civil in the title match.
Homers by Taws and Cassar from Western Civil weren't enough to stop the charge of the Dragons. A homerun by Jarrod Bradbury and 5 runs scored in the fifth, saw the ACT men run out winners 6-2.

Thanks to Blacktown Mayor, Alan Pendleton, Councillor Jacqueline Donaldson and Polly and Waz from the Block 2011 for presenting award winners with their medals.
