The NSW U19 Female team has continued its dominance at the National Championships in Perth advancing to the Grand Final after defeating ACT 8-1 in the major semi-final on the back of home run bombs by Rachel Lack and Aimee Palmer. The final will be played at 3pm (6pm EDST) against the winner of the preliminary final - ACT or QLD - which will be played at 12pm (3pm EDST).
The NSW U19 men haven't had it quite so easy but are still in with a chance at taking their place in the Grand Final game. Starting off strongly in their semi-final against the first placed Victorian team, they scored 4 runs in the first innings but whilst the VICs were able to score in every innings, the NSW team were unable to match them, eventually being defeated 8-4. They now will play QLD in the preliminary final at 11.00am with the winner moving to the Grand Final against VIC at 2.00pm
