Description

Georges River Softball Association runs Softball competition for all ages.  The Association provides for ages from the age of 4 years to 70.  Children can start their softball in the TBALL  competition.  This game is hitting a small ball from a Tee and with modified rules.  Tball has two age groups, BABES and VETS.  Then they progress to Modball (under 12s) then gradually with the skills learnt in Tee Ball and Modball, they're ready for "real" softball from the age of 13 and up. 

 

Georges River Softball also runs a competitive Ladies Competition every Saturday afternoon.  This competition caters for all skill levels ranging from Ladies D grade (New to the game players) to Ladies A grade (Players with great skill and knowledge of the game).  This is an excellent way to get out and meet new friends and to get a little "me" time away from home if you're a mum.

 

Sunday mornings we hold our MIXED competition.  The MIXED competition is where men and women combined in one team to play against a range of skill levels from other teams.  Mixed is great for a family as Mum, Dad, son and daughter can all play in the same team - you just need to be over 13.  Many of our MIXED teams are friends, who just put a team together and play.  This comp is full of all age groups and skill levels.  Its loads of fun!!!
