Aussie Colts Under 19 Men

Competiton and training schedule

The Under 19 Australian Men's team are recognised as Aussie Colts and are ranked number 1 in the world as a result of their 4 consecutive Junior Men's World Championships. The Aussie Colts program has produced world-class players that have progressed to the Aussie Steelers team and were influential in the 2009 Men's World Championship win.

The strength of previous squads was obvious when the Aussie Colts entered a team in the John Reid Shield Open Men's Australian Championship in 2008 with a view to obtaining some competitive matches and halted a 34 game winning streak of the Men's ACT team with a win. The Aussie Colts won several games during the campaign and the experience was invaluable.

John Neilson the Aussie Colts head coach believes 'the squad is improving with the assistance of the quality satellite coaches and each development opportunity; if they can maintain this improvement we will be in a good position to maintain the winning record.'

  • Gold medal 1997, 2001, 2005 and 2008 ISF Junior Men's World Championships
